“We visited the Artificial Advanced Eye Clinic in September 2024, just before our son Nox turned two. Nox was born with microphthalmia in his left eye. The first two years were incredibly difficult for him and for us. His prosthesis kept causing infections, and eventually enucleation (removal of the eye) was recommended.
This didn’t feel quite right to us, so we started looking into other options — and that’s when we found John and his team. Even though we live in the Netherlands, we had a few FaceTime calls with him first, and from the very beginning, we felt truly understood and supported. It was clear that John genuinely wanted to help.
Choosing to visit the clinic was the best decision we’ve ever made. The entire team welcomed us with open arms and, more importantly, helped us with incredible care and expertise. Now, 9 months later, we haven’t had a single issue with the prosthesis. We still keep in regular contact, and whenever we need anything, they are always there for us.
We even received a new prosthesis by mail when the old one became too small — and once again, they guided and supported us through the entire process.
We are forever grateful!”
